Glock 17 Gen4 MOS 9mm 4.5″ Black

Glock 17 Gen4 MOS Description:

The GLOCK 17 Gen4, in 9×19, introduces revolutionary design changes to the world’s most popular pistol. Firstly, the Modular Back Strap design lets you instantly customize its grip to adapt to an individual shooter’s hand size. Secondly, the surface of the frame employs the new scientifically designed, real-world-tested, Gen4 rough textured technology. In addition, internally, the new GLOCK dual recoil spring assembly substantially increases the life of the system. Moreover, A reversible enlarged magazine catch, changeable in seconds, accommodates left or right-handed operators. The G17 Gen4 9x19mm pistol also retains the GLOCK accessory rail for your attachments.

In addition, the Glock 17 Gen 4 is a semi-automatic large-frame pistol chambered in 9mm. “Gen 4” means it is the fourth generation G17. New features include removable back straps that allow shooters to adjust the grip for size and ease of use. Another new feature, the dual recoil pin, reduces recoil and increases the life cycle of the assembly. The grip texture is more aggressive, so it won’t slip when the shooter’s hands are sweaty or wearing gloves. And, an enlarged magazine release that’s easier to hit.

Otherwise, it has standard Glock features such as a polymer grip that’s very lightweight at two pounds loaded. On the front of the grip are finger grooves for a solid hold. Its double-action trigger is also “safe-action” meaning the safety is on the trigger rather than the side. The only way around can fire is if the shooter pulls the trigger because its internal design won’t allow the firing pin to punch forward any other way. This prevents accidental discharges if the pistol is dropped.

The Modular Optic System (MOS) variant is the newest member of the Glock line. The MOS line is available for the target/competition line of Glocks and comes with a cutout rear portion of the slide that is ready to accept reflex sights. It simplifies the mounting of popular optic sights without costly custom alterations of the pistol’s warrantied slide.
