The Trailhand Pro 12GA Single-shot was specifically designed for the Canadian market to feature a lightweight and compact design in a NON-RESTRICTED package. The Pro model builds on the base model Trailhand by adding an extended 12.2″ barrel, fiber optic front sight and top picatinny rail for enhanced versatility and capability.
Weighing in at just 4.5lbs and only 25” in overall length, this shotgun is small enough to be carried in a pack, ATV Box, vehicle or anywhere space is limited. The barrel quickly and conveniently folds down against the action for stowage in bug-out bag or survival kit, with longest portion only 17″ in length. The light weight and compact dimensions also makes the Trailhand a great compliment for smaller statured and beginner shooters when combined with 1.75” mini shells.
Unlike pistol grip only or mare’s leg stocks, the Trailhand stock is long enough to be shouldered. The barrel is rated for steel shot and is 12.2” in length, and includes interchangeable chokes and a chamber sized for 3” magnum.
The Trailhand features an external hammer and a beautiful walnut stock, well adorned with decorative checkering for a sturdy grip with gloves or in wet conditions.
Sub 26″ OAL restriction only applies to firearms when this is reached via folding, telescoping or otherwise. Since the Trailhand has a fixed OAL and is not a handgun, it is therefore non-restricted. FRT# 200085
